Science Fair 2021

June 26 @ 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM PDT

The annual Science Fair is approaching again and this year the organization is in the hands of Special events coordinator Shiloh Emmons.

As a location, our choice fell on the seabed near the lighthouse, Linda Kelley’s temperate coastal and marine ecosystems (New England).

Science Fair 2021

The objective is for you to select one object, really focus on the one object, that represents and conveys the idea/concept you want to talk about.

You will also have one poster/slide that you artistically design to help support and provide information on the idea/concept the one object represents

Art and creative scientific ideas go hand in hand.  Be creative.

WHEN  :   Saturday, June 26th

TIMES   :  Starts at 7 am to 10 am PDT

MUSIC  :   8am to 9am, Piano stream provided by Scientist & Maestro, Arisia Vita

WHERE :   Science Circle region, On the seabed under the lighthouse.

This year, Science Circle will award Best Object Concept that embodies the presenter’s idea, and an award for Best Poster designed that conveys the scientific idea of the presenter.

Each participant has 10 minutes to present their science exhibit. Be prepared to rez your object and poster under the water (Suggestion:  test this the night before at the sim, before presentation schedule).

Object can be created by the scientist, purchased, or created by a colleague.  Poster must be developed and designed by the presenter.
