Colorado State University Department of Anthropology and Geography

You are invited to an open house at the Colorado State University Department of Anthropology and Geography sim on December 23.  Meryl McBride will spend several minutes at the outset describing what people see, and why; and will explain the purpose of the project.  While the current structure is very much a work in progress (much is unfinished), we will show how it is intended to give geography students different ways of engaging geographical concepts in the so-called “Metaverse.”  As an example, we will invite guests to explore a “pedagogical place” featuring a Siberian tundra setting built by Delia Lake.    –Meryl McBride (Merrill Johnson), Professor of Geography
