In my career choice as a practicing public archaeologist, I always look for new and exciting ways to incorporate places that bring a hint of mystery and encourage further reading.

I was fortunate to stumble on the education website Owlcation and found the perfect listing to illustrate my passion for the subject and about places well beyond my area where I live and work.

It’s my pleasure to introduce you the 20 most significant archaeological sites around the world display.
